As this is the island both my parents were born
and left in the time Indonesia was still a colony of the Netherlands. They never returned to their homeground, but never ceased to share their stories about the island.
I am fortunate to have visited it in 2019 with my husband as did my daughter and siblings before me!
It is funny to recognize familymembers in your pictures. Thank you for the lovely report!
